“I started this meditation method at the main center in South Korea, back in 2017. Since then, I have been continuously meditating remotely with the help of San Francisco Meditation. I started meditating because of my sister’s recommendation for my overall wellbeing. As I continued with this method of self-reflection, I started to become more aware of myself. I realized that my uptight and arrogant personality was the root cause of my emotional distress. I used to hold grudges against others, especially my in-laws so I used to be very distant with them. I used to get sick frequently because I did not know how my body worked. Before, whenever I received constructive criticism, I used to continue to follow my old patterns… but now, I try my best to view the situation from other persons’ perspective so it’s easier for me to change my behavior. I am now able to empathize with my in-laws. So instead of being distant with them, I am very close to them and I even love them. I understand my husband more. He is my best friend now. I am also able to let go of my ego, so I feel very comfortable emotionally and my mind is very simple now. I am also able to take care of my health better because I have more clarity about how my body works. I am becoming a better person every day. I now try to be humble, generous and helpful to others as much as possible and people compliment me for being an inspirer.
